What does your role involve?
I manage the day-to-day operations of the business, keeping my team motivated to deliver service excellence and meet our business goals.
Why did you join the mortgage and finance industry?
It wasn’t a career decision at the time. Through a friend I secured an interview for an admin role in a Perth-based mortgage broking company. 25 years later I’m still in the industry.
What might people not know about you?
I won ‘Miss Armadale Park’ at a charity competition when I was 16 (lol).
What are your hobbies/interests?
Restoring my very old farmhouse, my dogs and chooks, my veggie garden and greenhouse.
What are your top tips for mortgage brokers?
- Persistent and patience pays off.
- Be different, set yourself apart from your competitors.
- Detail matters!
