What does your role involve?
It’s my job to do everything in my power to support the growth of our brokers’ businesses and help them deliver exceptional customer outcomes. It’s not only my responsibility, but something I’m deeply passionate about.
Why did you join the mortgage and finance industry?
I joined this industry because I believe that brokers have the capacity to make a real difference to people’s lives. I’m proud to be part of an industry that takes the complexity and stress out of the home buying process for others and helps people achieve their finance goals.
What might people not know about you?
I was once invited to audition for the role of James Bond, but turned the opportunity down to pursue my mortgage broking career.
What are your hobbies/interests?
I love going on holidays with my wife and spending time with my three amazing children and gorgeous granddaughter. I’m also a passionate Saints supporter, a huge James Bond fan and I enjoy listening to music and watching live theatre – preferably with a Bundaberg Rum in hand.
What are your top tips for mortgage brokers?
- Say what you’re going to do and then remain true to your word and do it.
- When speaking with clients, make sure you’re always interested, not just interesting.
- Never forget that we’re in a relationships business, not a transactions business.
